This policy describes how Tingnova Inc. handles information when you use Parle: French Pronunciation on iOS.

Information used by the app

• Learning progress, preferences, Phrase Match results, and settings may be stored on your device.
• Microphone and speech recognition permissions are used when you choose recording or voice-input practice.
• Subscription status is handled through Apple In-App Purchase.
• AI Coach messages may be processed by a third-party AI provider only after the in-App disclosure is accepted.
• Anonymous onboarding, learning, and subscription events may be measured with Firebase Analytics; recordings and message content are excluded.

Phrase Match and recordings

Phrase Match reports which words in the model phrase speech recognition detected. It is not an accent, pronunciation-quality, fluency, proficiency, or CEFR score. Background noise, microphone conditions, volume, and recognition errors can affect the result. A temporary recording may be used on your device for playback during practice.

AI Coach Léo

To generate a reply, AI Coach sends messages you type and text transcribed from your voice to DeepSeek, a third-party AI service. The audio recording itself is not sent in that AI request. Parle shows a separate disclosure before this transfer; if you decline, you can leave AI Coach and continue using the reviewed course and sound library. AI replies may make mistakes.
